TERMS OF SERVICE

This document describes the terms under which you may use this project (the "Tool"), maintained by VEX IR. These Terms apply in addition to, and do not replace or override, the VECE ORIGIN LICENSE, which governs your rights to use, copy, modify, and distribute the underlying source code.

If any conflict arises between this document and the VECE ORIGIN LICENSE regarding licensing rights, the VECE ORIGIN LICENSE prevails. For all other matters of usage conduct, this document applies.

By downloading, installing, or using the Tool, you agree to these Terms.

1. NATURE OF THE TOOL

The Tool is distributed as source code and/or compiled software for use by developers and end users. It is not offered as a hosted service, subscription, or platform operated by VEX IR unless explicitly stated elsewhere. You are responsible for how, where, and in what environment you run the Tool.

2. ACCEPTABLE USE

You may use the Tool for personal, educational, or commercial purposes, consistent with the rights granted under the VECE ORIGIN LICENSE.

You agree not to use the Tool to:

• •Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• •Build or distribute malware, attack tools, or anything designed to
• • cause unauthorized harm to systems or data.
• •Misrepresent the origin, authorship, or affiliation of the Tool, in
• • violation of Sections 3 and 6 of the VECE ORIGIN LICENSE.
• •Attempt to identify, expose, or compromise the personal identity of
• • VEX IR, in violation of Section 7 of the VECE ORIGIN LICENSE.
• •Use the Tool in any way that knowingly degrades its security,
• • integrity, or quality for other users, such as distributing tampered
• • builds while claiming they are official.

3. NO WARRANTY

The Tool is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. This mirrors the disclaimer already stated in the VECE ORIGIN LICENSE.

You are solely responsible for evaluating the suitability of the Tool for your intended use before relying on it.

4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VEX IR shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from or related to the use, misuse, or inability to use the Tool, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which a claim is brought.

5. USER RESPONSIBILITY

You are responsible for:

• •Ensuring that your use of the Tool complies with laws applicable to
• • you and your jurisdiction.
• •Any data, content, or configuration you process using the Tool.
• •Securing your own deployment, environment, or systems in which the
• • Tool is run.

VEX IR does not monitor, control, or take responsibility for how individual users or organizations deploy or operate the Tool.

6. MODIFIED VERSIONS AND THIRD-PARTY DISTRIBUTIONS

If you obtain the Tool from a source other than those listed in TRUSTED.md, these Terms may not reflect the conduct, safety, or intent of that distribution. VEX IR is not responsible for Modified Versions or third-party distributions, even if they claim compliance with these Terms or the VECE ORIGIN LICENSE.

Modified Versions must independently comply with the naming and attribution requirements in Section 3 of the VECE ORIGIN LICENSE, regardless of what terms the distributor presents to their own users.

7. SUPPORT AND MAINTENANCE

This project is maintained on a best-effort basis. No specific level of support, update frequency, or maintenance is guaranteed. Reports and requests should be submitted through the appropriate category in ISSUE.md.

8. TERMINATION OF PERMITTED USE

Your permission to use the Tool under these Terms ends automatically if you violate Section 2 of this document, independent of any termination of license rights under Section 9 of the VECE ORIGIN LICENSE. Both may apply at the same time, depending on the nature of the violation.

9. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

These Terms may be updated over time to reflect changes in the project. Continued use of the Tool after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected by an updated version of this document.

10. PRIVACY

Use of the Tool itself, when run locally or in your own environment, does not involve collection of personal data by VEX IR unless explicitly stated for a specific feature. The privacy protections owed to VEX IR under Section 7 of the VECE ORIGIN LICENSE remain in effect regardless of how you use the Tool.
