1. DEFINITIONS

"Work" means the software, source code, documentation, assets, and any accompanying materials distributed under this License.

"Origin" means the original, unmodified version of the Work as released and maintained by VEX IR.

"Modified Version" means any software, fork, derivative, adaptation, or redistribution that has been altered in any way from the Origin.

"Contributor" means any individual or entity that submits code, patches, or other material intended to be merged into the Work.

"Identity" means the name, alias, branding, mark, or any identifying reference associated with VEX IR in connection with the Work.

Subject to full compliance with this License, VEX IR grants you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, modify, merge, and distribute the Work, in source or compiled form, for personal, educational, or commercial purposes.

3. BRANDING AND ORIGIN INTEGRITY

To protect the integrity of the Work and prevent confusion between the Origin and any Modified Version:

You may distribute the Work in its original, unmodified form, provided all attribution to VEX IR is preserved exactly as provided.

You may not use the Identity, any abbreviation of it, any phonetically or visually similar variation, or any name likely to cause confusion with the Origin, in connection with any Modified Version, without prior written permission from VEX IR.

Any Modified Version must be clearly and prominently renamed, and must carry a visible notice stating that it is an independently modified version based on the Origin, not endorsed or maintained by VEX IR.

This restriction applies only to naming and branding. It does not limit your right to modify, extend, or rebuild the underlying code.

4. NO CLAIM TO OWNERSHIP

You may not claim ownership, authorship, or exclusive copyright over the Work or the Origin. All original copyright notices, attribution headers, and legal notices must remain intact and unaltered in all copies, forks, and substantial portions of the Work, including Modified Versions.

Removing, obscuring, or falsifying attribution to VEX IR is a material breach of this License.

5. PATENT PROTECTION

Each Contributor grants VEX IR and all recipients of the Work a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable patent license to make, use, sell, and distribute the Work, covering any patent claims the Contributor holds that are necessarily infringed by their contribution.

If any person or entity initiates patent litigation alleging that the Work, or a contribution to the Work, infringes a patent, that person's or entity's license under this section, and under Section 2, terminates automatically and immediately upon filing such litigation.

This License does not grant any patent rights to use the Identity or any trademark associated with VEX IR.

6. PROTECTION AGAINST PLAGIARISM AND MISREPRESENTATION

You may not present the Work, in whole or in part, as your own original creation. You may not remove, replace, or falsify authorship information in a manner that implies you are the original creator of the Work.

Any public release, publication, academic submission, or commercial listing that includes the Work or a Modified Version must disclose its origin and reference VEX IR as the original source.

Violation of this section is treated as a material breach and may result in immediate termination of rights under Section 8, in addition to any other remedy available under applicable law.

7. PRIVACY OF THE COPYRIGHT HOLDER

VEX IR is the sole identity under which this Work is published and licensed. No provision of this License requires or implies disclosure of any real name, legal identity, contact information, or personal data belonging to the individual or individuals behind VEX IR.

You may not attempt to use the Work, its documentation, its commit history, or any associated material as a means to identify, expose, dox, or otherwise compromise the personal privacy of the individual or individuals operating under the Identity VEX IR.

Any attempt to do so is a material breach of this License and terminates all rights granted herein immediately.

8. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Work is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

In no event shall VEX IR be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort, or otherwise, arising from, out of, or in connection with the Work or the use or other dealings in the Work.

9. TERMINATION

This License and all rights granted under it terminate automatically and without notice if you fail to comply with any term of this License, including but not limited to Sections 3, 4, 6, and 7.

Upon termination, you must immediately cease all use, distribution, and modification of the Work, and destroy or remove all copies of the Work in your possession or control, except as required to comply with legal obligations.

Sections 5, 7, 8, and 9 survive termination of this License.

10. GOVERNING INTERPRETATION

This License is the sole and complete agreement governing the Work. No other license, including but not limited to Apache License 2.0 or MIT License, applies to the Work unless explicitly and separately stated in writing by VEX IR.

If any provision of this License is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
